NE Soccer today - "On Saturday, the defending duo – both of whom played club soccer for Rhode Island-based Bayside FC – found themselves paired together in the center of the United States defense for the first time during the squad’s 1-0 shutout of Venezuela.It is believed that the locally-grown center back pairing is the first occasion in which players from the same New England-based youth club have played together for the U.S. National Team."

Bayside FC Bolts Alum Michael Parkhurst recently sat down with USSOCCER.COM to answer a few question for US Soccer fans. Parkhurst speaks about his relationship with current teammate and former bayside alum Geoff Cameron. Michael also goes on to credit Bayside FC Bolts for teaching him to love the game “That’s where I learned to have fun with soccer ". Four Bayside FC Bolts Teams Ranked Nationlly, Bayside FC Bolts U13 Boys, U16 Girls and U14 Girls have recently been reconized by www.Nationalsoccerranking.com as three of the top youth soccer teams in the country in their respected age groups.

Justin Freitas Remains on the US National Team staffs radar after being called into his sixth US Soccer National Training Center. Justin was a member of the U14 National Team Pool under then head coach Manny Schellscheidt.

Bayside FC Bolts would like to congratulate Sarah Levigne on being selected to Region 1 98 ODP player pool. Sarah will train along side the region’s top 60 girls born in 1998 during the 2011-2012 season.
